Educators Working for Relevancy was developed in 2011 through a partnership of The Chamber of Commerce and futurePREP. The mission is to help educaotrs brincy relevancy from the workplace to the classroom. This year, thirteen educators gave their summer to attend hands-on sessions, working directly with a business and develop lesson plans to be implemented into their classrooms. Volunteer Manager, Kristyn Ireland, hosted high school biology teacher Dennis Striegle. Below is what Kristyn had to say about playing host to Dennis:
